Reinforcement mats
Reinforcement steel meshwork
Reinforcing steel meshes of steel grades B500A (material 1.0438) or B500B (material 1.0439) according to DIN-488-1:2009-08, regulated according to DIN 488-4:2009-08. Reinforcing steel meshes are rational reinforcement, which is mostly used for flat reinforcement, such as floor slabs, ceilings and walls. Reinforcing steel mesh consists of intersecting reinforcing steel bars, which are permanently connected at the intersections in certified factories in a semi-automatic or fully automatic process using electric projection welding (electric resistance spot welding).
Welding must fulfil the requirements of DIN 488-4-2009-08, points 6.2.2 and 6.3.2.4.
Reinforcing steel meshes B500A can be manufactured from reinforcing steel B500A (material 1.0438) and/or from reinforcing steel B500B (material 1.0439). Reinforcing steel mats B500B must be made of reinforcing steel B500B (material 1.0439). The requirements of DIN 488-1:2009-08 to DIN 488:3-2009-08 apply to the specified reinforcing steels.

Details
Concrete steel bearing mats are always available in grades Q and R from stock or ex works. Grade Q are bearing mats that have the same steel cross-section in the longitudinal and transverse directions (with the exception of bearing mat Q636). Type R are bearing mats with a larger steel cross-section in the longitudinal direction than in the transverse direction (except for bearing mat R188). With the exception of Q131 and Q636, all bearing mats have a total length of 6,000 mm and a width of 2,300 mm. Your requirements for reinforcing steel mesh types that are not covered by available bearing meshes can be met in the form of list meshes.
