Wire spacers BK

Type “BK” wire spacers serve to support the top reinforcement layer or ensure the spacing between the reinforcement layers. Unlike “BT” and “BS” type wire spacers, “BK” type cages are located directly on the formwork or granular subbase. They are primarily used in components without any special requirements for the concrete surface finish. To ensure the required corrosion resistance on the supports, type “BK” feet are coated with plastic.

Type “BK” spacer reinforcement cages are only available in a certified version that meets the requirements and regulations of DIN 1045-3:2012-3, as well as the descriptions of “DBV Merkblatt Unterstützungen” (DBV Fact Sheet “Supports”).
