Hot rolled flat steel

Grafische Darstellung eines Flachstahls

Quality steels are hot-rolled products that are more highly alloyed than normal structural steel (S235JR).

This is due to the fact that special requirements are placed on quality steels. Depending on the area of application, different grades are used. A distinction is made between unalloyed and alloyed quality steels.

Details

C 15 R / C 15 E
For construction and machine parts such as levers, joints, bushes, bolts, pins, rollers, spindles, gear wheels, measuring tools and similar parts.

C 45 R / C 45 E
For components in vehicle and general mechanical engineering with low mechanical properties.

C 60 R / C 60 E
Unalloyed heat-treatable steel for high stresses in the machine, automotive and engine sectors

16 MnCrS 5 / ZF 6
For highly stressed, wear-resistant components of medium cross-sections in vehicle and mechanical engineering, e.g. camshafts, bushes, connecting rods and gear wheels.

20 MnCrS 5
For highly stressed and wear-resistant components in the areas of gear and joint parts, gear wheels, bevel gears, shafts, bolts and pins.

42 CrMoS 4V
For components requiring high tempering strength and toughness with medium cross-sections.
