Bored pile reinforcement cages for Oste wind farm
Seven wind turbines, a good 180 meters high, are being erected by the district of Cuxhaven in Oberndorf. One of these high-performance systems can supply several thousand households with green electricity. The SÜLZLE Stahlpartner branch in Dessau-Roßlau supplied the bored pile reinforcement cages on behalf of Meyer Sonderbau GmbH. The construction project was divided into two construction phases: The first phase was already carried out in 2018 with a total tonnage of around 230 tonnes and the second at the end of 2020 to mid-2021 with another 360 tonnes of reinforcement for a total of seven wind turbines and crane parking areas. For the foundations of the bored piles, around 2,100 tons of reinforcing steel were also supplied by the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner site in Seelze in cooperation with Meyer Sonderbau GmbH.
Since the upper 5 m of the baskets were not allowed to be welded, the competent SÜLZLE team braided the irons by hand. In addition, a steel sheath pipe was proposed as a special solution by FRANKI Grundbau, which was installed on the outside via the bored pile reinforcement cages with a pipe length of up to 16 m from SÜLZLE Stahlpartner. The sheathing pipes were necessary so that the reinforcement cages in the soft clay soil could not shift or bend after installation.
