Overwhelming Response at the Open House

Open house day: A resounding success

On Sunday, September 22, 2024, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner opened its doors to the public in perfect weather. More than 1,300 visitors from the region, including many families, invited guests, customers, and employees, took the opportunity to tour the new site, which spans over 26,000 square meters, and learn about the expanded service offerings. The open house not only provided insights into the modern bending operation, the offices covering around 600 square meters, and the vast hall spaces of 6,000 square meters, but also offered a diverse program for the whole family. Before the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, Andreas and Heinrich Sülzle, site manager Uwe Köber, and the deputy mayor of Dußlingen, Harald Müller, gave warm greetings to the numerous guests. At the SÜLZLE booth, visitors could learn about the company group, its range of services, training and education opportunities at the in-house academy, and much more. Those interested could also try their luck at the prize wheel or capture an emotional memory with a photo at the photo booth.

Community engagement

The event became a true community experience thanks to the active support of local associations. SÜLZLE Group thanks the Dußlingen Volunteer Fire Department in particular for the excellent catering and children’s program, the Dußlingen Music Society for the musical accompaniment, and CVJM Dußlingen & Stockach and TSG Balingen for their support at the sports activity stations. For younger visitors, there were many attractions such as a bouncy castle, goal wall shooting, and a play street with water games.

Future-oriented and innovative

“This move allows us to better meet the needs of our customers and further strengthen our collaboration,” explains Uwe Köber, branch manager of SÜLZLE Stahlpartner in Dußlingen. “Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the Dußlingen city administration, the building authorities, and regional companies, we were able to move with our team as early as July. We are grateful to everyone involved,” adds Andreas Sülzle, managing partner of the SÜLZLE Group.

After more than two decades on Birkenstraße, this move marks a significant milestone in the company’s history. The company’s strong ties to the region, the large space available, and the excellent transport links have motivated them to remain at the Dußlingen site. The expanded product portfolio includes concrete steel, mats, reinforcement accessories, and special reinforcement.
