SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Aichach supports the Friedberg children’s home
Donation on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group
As part of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner site in Aichach is donating 1,400 euros on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group to the Kinderheim Friedberg e.V., a modern children’s and youth welfare organisation that is recognised beyond the borders of the town. The work is based on more than 160 years of tradition, which has always been continued and further developed within the organisation. The organisation has made it its mission to accompany, encourage and support children and young people in a variety of ways, because children are the treasure and hope of every society. By offering specialised socio-educational services, they provide children and young people with educational support and offer assistance in developing a sustainable relationship with their families. They also offer social group work and intensive educational support in after-school groups. In the crèches, kindergartens and after-school care centres, the children are given the freedom they need to develop their creativity and imagination. More than 150 employees work with the children entrusted to their care day in, day out. Around 45 children and young people are accompanied and supported in the curative children’s home in the Georg-Fendt-Haus if they are temporarily or permanently unable to live with their parents. The specialised socio-educational service provides outpatient support to more than 60 families when problems arise. In addition, over 450 children attend one of the seven day care centres every day.
With the donation, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Aichach is supporting in particular the children’s leisure activities and excursions, for example a bicycle tour from Friedberg to Berlin. Branch manager Christian Irotscheck presented a donation cheque to the chairman of the Friedberg children’s home Richard Schulan on behalf of the entire Aichach site.
