SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf supports NASCAR HILFT
Donation on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group
In its 140th anniversary year, the SÜLZLE Group is supporting sustainable and social projects, organisations and institutions with a donation campaign. The aim of this commitment is to support people who are committed to health, youth, integration, sport, culture, the environment and social issues.
As part of the SÜLZLE Group, SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf handed over a donation cheque to NASCAR HILFT in the person of Ms Susan Welsch and Mr Alexander Schröter. Initiator Jan Wätzig and his NASCAR HILFT team have been supporting Sonnenstrahl e. V. Dresden since 2013. The organisation helps children with cancer and their families who are being treated at Dresden University Hospital. The aim of NASCAR HILFT is to give affected families the opportunity to escape the difficult hospital routine for a few hours and take their minds off things. To this end, the team invites families to experience a real racing feeling in real racing cars on real racetracks. They can lend a hand in the pits, Jan and his team patiently answer all questions about racing and, as a highlight, the children and young people concerned, but of course also mums, dads and siblings who are racing enthusiasts, take a seat in the passenger seat of the racing cars to do a few laps with a real racing feeling that everyone will remember for a long time to come.
The shining eyes of the young and old co-drivers inspire the entire team to top performance time and time again
