SÜLZLE Group supports the Rosenfeld church tower renovation
Donation on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group
The church tower, the landmark of the town of Rosenfeld, is currently undergoing fundamental renovation. To ensure that the historic church remains a meeting place, the SÜLZLE Group has now provided additional support totalling 14,000 euros. The donation cheque was handed over to Pastor Bernd Hofmann and representatives of the Rosenfeld parish council on 20 November.
Heinrich and Andreas Sülzle, managing partners of the SÜLZLE Group, who hold Christian values close to their hearts, continue to take their responsibility seriously in the 140th anniversary year and support sustainable and social projects, associations and institutions. The donation to the Rosenfeld town church is part of the SÜLZLE fundraising campaign, which supports charitable and non-profit organisations on the occasion of the company’s anniversary. A total amount of 140,000 euros will be divided into five large and fifty small projects over several months. The aim of the commitment is to support people who are committed to health, youth, integration, sport, culture, the environment or social issues in the regions around all SÜLZLE locations in Germany and France or even worldwide.
The Protestant town church in Rosenfeld dates back to a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which was first mentioned in 1319. The actual substance of the tower originates from a monumental extension of the entire church at the end of the 15th century, during which the choir was vaulted and the vestibule added.
Chairwoman Siglinde Ruoff, church warden Luiza Fuoß and pastor Bernd Hofmann were delighted with this generous building block for the renovation and expressed their heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Rosenfeld-Isingen parish. The donation barometer has thus taken another step towards the target of €240,000 in total.
