Dr. Hans Fritz Foundation – Promotion of healthcare, science and research
The Dr Hans Fritz Foundation is a non-profit foundation based in Stuttgart. Independent of government, political parties and industry, it was established at the beginning of 2016 and has since pursued the promotion of healthcare, science and research. Its main focus is on supporting research projects in the fields of pulmonary fibrosis, papillary/pancreatic carcinoma and pancreatic cancer, which are neglected by science and industry because they promise little commercial success.
The Foundation’s primary task is to raise funds to support universities, universities of applied sciences and specialised research institutions and clinics working in these areas. In addition, the Foundation also supports organisations and institutions that pursue corresponding non-profit objectives and ensures that the resulting scientific research findings are made available to the general public.

“There’s no such thing as impossible.” – Dr Hans Fritz started his support under this guiding principle. Driven by his personal experience of illness and with his expertise from over 20 years as a high-ranking executive at leading global pharmaceutical companies, he campaigned for research into diseases that are neglected for commercial reasons. Following his death in 2015, the Dr Hans Fritz Foundation continues the work in his spirit and ensures that the foundation’s goals are sustainable in the long term.
SÜLZLE Nutzeisen is proud to support these goals again this year with a donation and in this way help to ensure that these important research projects can continue to be realised.
